ACCOUNT FULLY PAID IN 2013 - STILL OWING

Good day,<br> I wanted to apply for a loan at an Institution. It was declined as they told me I have an outstanding balance at ABSA. I said it is not true as I settled my account in 2013, I phoned Transunion and they told me I still owe ABSA. I'm sitting with my paid up letter from 2013. ABSA never gave through my clearance to Transunion and now I'm looking bad and can't get a loan. Now I'm struggling with ABSA and Transunion to clear my name. The institution where I apply for a loan can't give me loan as the letter of 2013 are too old. Now I'm struggling getting a new 2016 letter stating that I'm fully paid up. This is absolute absurd and totally unacceptable.
