Account closure

I went into the branch to close my account with absa only to find out that you cant close your bank account in the branch any more, they log the request at tje branch and then they will phone you. The consultant phoned me but the line was so bad, when I requested the consultant to speak louder they put the phone down in my ear. When I phoned the number given on the closure they told me I must phone my banker. When I phoned my banker the line was also bad and could not hear the consultant. The service is bad and then they wonder why I want to close my bank account
