ACCOUNT BLOCKED

My mom and her friends have a social club and they have an account with ABSA for more than 20 years now. last week Wednesday the 15th of June, they went to claim at one of the ABSA branches, and they were told that their account had a problem they must come back after 48 hours the issue would be solved, a week later nothing has been done and they are still waiting, everyday they are told a different story, Can you please advise as to who they need talk too, or who will take the matter seriously as they are now scared they might lose the money they have in their account?
