accepting my documents incorrectly

I got married, and had to change my surname with absa. I brought my marriage certificate, proof of address, and even my husband to sign an affidavit! The absa teller accepted all my documents and changed my surname. I even got a new debit and credit card in my new name. A few weeks later, I get bombarded with smses from absa telling me I have been put on a FICA list and have to come in to the branch once again. I went in, and they now tell me that my documents are incomplete after I was told it was accepted! I have to make a trip to home affairs and get another document before they will take me off the FICA list. So why was my account changed and i was told everything was fine? This is proving to be a huge headache, as there was no proper communication with me. It's as if absa doesn't believe me that I got married. And I had my husband right there. He wants me to move banks, because this is so ridiculous!
