Absolutely dissapointing

<p>I have been banking with ABSA for close to 25 years now. This weekend the usual monthly debit orders were loaded against my account, and as before when my payday falls on a weekend, the debits were active on Friday afternoon already. The usual ritual would be that the debits would go off on Saturday when the funds are showing.... that how it usually works with any bank. This time round, ABSA charged me rediculous amounts of money for the debits not being funded on Friday already, and when I inquired about it from them I was told to take it up with the people that loaded the debit aroder, i.e. the Creditor. That would have been acceptable, was it the first time I got paid over a weekend. Never before has ABSA penalised me for debits going off on the Saturday only, this time they penalised me for three debits at R150.00 each!!!! The best part is one of the debits is only worth R25.00, do the math. This is absolutely outrageous and if ABSA cant resolve this I will move to another bank, this is utterly unacceptable.</p>
