Absent ABSA Bond Agreements - Can I stop paying???

<p>I have 5 bond accounts with ABSA. Recently after looking at my affairs, I realised that after a divorce and a move, I was missing some of my bond agreements. After being set from pillar to post and uncountable call centre and email requests, I managed to obtain 2 of the 5 bond agreements. The others, try as I might - there is just nothing. My question to ABSA is - if you can't even supply me as your customer with a copy of my agreement with you, do I really have to continue paying???</p> <p>49 Villeroy Court – 80-6 ********** </p> <p> 56 Twee Riviere - 80-7 ********** </p> <p>26 Boschendal - 80-6 ********** </p> <p>Just as an afterthought - 2 bonds with Nedbank - not a problem at all. Sent them while I was on the phone with them and had them straing away in my inbox. </p>
