I must be having bad luck with Absa. I recently took a personal loan and I regret taking it. At first, it was the deduction that was incorrect, personnel who were not client-centric. Deducting the wrong amount inconvenienced me to go to the bank to reverse the payment. Now I am getting collection calls, they say I owe R62.00, mind you I have a debit order that I accepted via debit check. So, If there's a change in the amount that I pay for my loan, who is responsible for informing me about it? What was the purpose of a debit check? Am I the only one getting this treat? I am getting advice to move my business elsewhere. It's been less than 6 months since I took this loan and it's been hell from the first month. I hope this can get to the attention of the CEO and the board. maybe others suffer in silence. To make matters worse this collections agent tries to load another debi check and he cancels the old one hoping to load another one. Boom!!! MY BANK ACCOUNT DOES NOT MATCH TO MY PROFILE. This is a bad client experience!!! I know someone will try and solve this and cover up instead of looking at the root cause so that it does not happen again. When institutions fail to service clients they must own up to their mistakes, and fix the problem.
