ABSAlutely no service

My father's advice, many years ago, was go to building societies when you buy a house and use banks for financial matters. My wife has an account with ABSA, her card expired on the 30 March...unlike a bank, ABSA expects you to come to get a card. Ok, so lockdown wasn't their fault.....try and find a branch that is open. When you do find one that is open, the queues are 500m long...so on-line banking one would think...oh no, you need to come into the branch the get that going. Mailed them twice in 10 days...no response. The joke is their email address is actionline.....Simple after lockdown, she will move her account to Tyme...they know how to manage clients.
