ABSA wont Cancel my Credit Card!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

<p>I had an ABSA credit card that I owed and I then paid off this card in December 2015. I then had a credit of R43.60 on my card becuase I had overpaid. I then contacted ABSA collections to ask for a paid up letter and for the credit card to be cancelled. I was informed that I need to go to the branch. I went to the branch to cancell the credit card and get my R43.60 refund. I was informed that they cannot help me because the account was handed over to collections and there is a block on it. The branch then helped me to call the collections center. I spoke to them whilst in the branch and was told that the card will be closed and cancelled and that i should get a paid up letter in 48 hours. Till this day i have heard nothing and the card is accumulatiing charges. My latest statement says that I need to pay R46.00. I paid up in 2015 and suddenly i owe them in 2017. PLEASE CANCEL MY CREDIT CARD AND REFUND ME WHAT IS DUE!</p>
