Absa withdraws client antivirus support to improve banking security 🤔

Absa gave notice that they're ending Trend Micro antivirus support for their clients because, fasten your seatbelts, they want to help their clients improve their internet security! I can understand some accountant saying, 'This antivirus licensing is costing us money, so let's stop it even if ***** is exploding in SA' (is the fee not hidden somewhere in the account admin costs anyway?). What I'll never understand is the head of their PR division approving some underling's suggestion to claim they're blessing the client with improved internet banking security by withdrawing their internet banking security! Only in SA...
