ABSA WILL CONFUSION
On the 04/06/25 I visited ABSA Shelly Beach branch to enquire about the validity of a Will. I met a gentleman whom I explained my request and with a glance at the Will he informed me that it was not valid. I tried different explanation to make sure he understood my request and still said it was invalid. I returned home and decided to call ABSA Will department and spoke to Basetsane who checked on the system and said the Will is valid and can effect process of winding up estate. The actions of the gentleman left me confused because a Will is an instruction from deceased as to how they want their estate to be dissolved now I'm being informed it's invalid because the owner of the Will is deceased.
