ABSA, Why pay for inferior products?
My debit card, that is a few months old, suddenly stopped reading and I couldn't perform any transactions. I app**** via my phone app. for a replacement card. Shock and horror, they charged me R140.00 for the new card and R175.00 delivery fee, for a problem that was not of my making. If ABSA supply inferior cards, for which we have already paid, then it is ABSA that must carry the consequences of this, why must we, the public, have to pay again? I have lodged a complaint with ABSA and insisted that the charges be reversed on my account. I will update with any information.
