ABSA.... where you are guaranteed of heart failure

After several months of sending and resending a multitude of emails to ABSA credit card division, I am STILL awaiting the settlement amount on my credit card so I can finally close that account. Each time I email, I receive a reference number, each time someone else responds and I have to tell the WHOLE STORY AGAIN! Don't you have access to your own system?! Can you not find the information on your system? Can you not locate the details by using my name, ID number, account number?! Do you need the blood of a virgin?! WHAT DO YOU NEED TO PROVIDE ME WITH THE SETTLEMENT AMOUNT?!

account number ***

On 30 March I emailed ABSA with debit order changes and instructions, to which I have not yet had the courtesy of a reply!

"Please find attached hereto a signed instruction letter to switch the debit order for my daughter’s study loan, with account number ***, from ABSA to FNB with immediate effect."

Providing them with the debit order switching document as well as the account details in writing.

Have they implemented this on their side?
NO!
I have been informed by FNB that this has not been done, even though I gave instructions for the debit order switch!

I am awaiting response from ABSA and I must say, they are challenging MY tenacity.

Get your act together!!!!!!!

Upon sending ABSA the information via email at 12h22, I have not heard anything from:

Basani Hlungwane
Specialist Case Manager: Social Media Complaints
Customer Value Management: Customer Care

Customer care, please note.
Read that again.

Hi Teresa,

Please be advised that I sent you two emails in response to the two matters raised, credit card as well, as the loan debit order. Thanks
