ABSA VS ME
<p>TRYING TO GET NATIS PAPERS FOR A CAR THAT MY FATHER BOUGHT. HE PASSED AWAY IN 2012 AND THE CAR WAS PAID OFF IN 2013. NOW ABSA SAYS THAT THE CAR HAS BEEN TRANSFERED OUT OF THEIR NAME BUT HAVENT A CLUE AS TO WHERE ALL THE DOCUMENTS ARE. HOW CAN A BANK NOT KNOW WHERE PERSONAL AND SENSITIVE DOCUMENTS BELONGING TO THEIR CLIENTS ARE. MY POOR MOTHER HAS BEEN FIGHTING THEM FOR MONTHS ON END. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! </p>

21 Feb 2017, 09:40Thank you, but an investigation has Finally been done. Just to confirm your incompetence. A transfer of ownership was done so now we have to request a duplicate and pay because you have lost the original. And by the looks of it all over the internet, this is something that keeps happening with ABSA. I am so disappointed with the service. Only today we are told that we need to now request this document, and you were informed in October 2016. Is it not common curtesy to let your clients know? Or do you only get back to us after the 40th phone call?
