ABSA VF

In December 2014 ABSA financed my vehicle purchase. A few weeks later i was involved in a car accident the vehicle was wrriten off. My insurance paid a portion of the financed amount and there was an amount which was payable.

in January 2015, i received a call from ABSA RE: ACCOUNT NUMBER: ********** 7, I spoke to Gladys she advised me that i will be making payments for 24 (twenty four) months, my last payment will be in January 2017.

I recenlty requested a settlement amount and was shocked to see that the amount due was -/+ R7000.

Sometime this year ABSA cancelled the debit order, approximately for 2 months after fighting and enquiring the debit order was all of a sudden without warning reinstated.

i would like to know what is happening with this account as i was expecting to make the last payment in January 2017.
