ABSA verification system is *******

Ands has a stupid verification system that asks questions that aren’t true. I called in. They sent an approve it message to my bank and I responded. Next thing I’m asked questions which relate to my credit profile. I respond to all questions and I’m told I failed. The only question that wasn’t true was that I bought a house which I didn’t.

They did another slot which I still failed and I wasn’t assisted because of that. Why would they request me to log into my banking app and verify myself if they will want to verify me further using incorrect information???

I’m currently in the rural areas and I was told that I must go into a branch to get verified. This is a bank on nonsense. Such an inconvenience. I’m livid. I must now drive 50kms for a service that takes 2 minutes. So stupid.
