Absa Verdi's MPHO KGOMANE

I needed to open islamic youth accounts for my 2 kids. 1stly the process was terrible. After emailing all the required documents, I wouldn't expect a turnaround time of 2 weeks to get these accounts approved. Initially I was told, the cards would be delivered free. I felt the consultant I delt with in this whole process was very unprofessional. Finally when I got these accounts approved, I was told I have to go to a branch to collect the cards and retrieve the account info. I've chosen Absa Verdi in Northcliff. Very small branch accomodating 2 employees and 2 clients at a time. The wait was really frustrating making my whole experience with Absa even worst which made me think I should have rather gone to the Cresta branch. However...a kind employee at the branch MPHO KGOMANE, went the extra mile in assisting me. When she finished a client but could not assist me as issuing cards and linking accounts are not her department, she came out to me, enquiring my reason for visiting the branch, thinking quickly of how best I could be assisted, called a trainee, got the cards & requested that I be assisted. I believe MPHO has gone the extra mile as time was not on my side being time for prayers. Well done Mpho. She is the reason Absa is forgiven for the bad experience, experienced in getting these accounts opened
