Absa vehicle over charged me

I have payed my car installment in 3 years meaning terms of payment was 72 months but i prayed the total amount in 3 years the settlement qoute amount is equally to the amount i would have being charged for the 72 months should i have continued with the installment not saving at all talk about interest rate cut
