Absa Vehicle Finance - will bleed you dry.

Absa Vehicle Finance - NEVER EVER finance your vehicle through them. I did, then I lost my job, my husband got retrenched because of Covid. I got a new job, with more that less my original salary. I tried to re-finance. I went to them the moment I lost my job to explain what had happened. I asked if we could reduce my monthly installments. I was open with them. I continued to make payments, but was not the full installment. I did skip a month or two, cause I have 2 kids to feed. My husband was not able to find work, started doing small odd jobs and some handyman work. We manage to just keep our heads above water. Absa sent their people, while I was at the bank (Absa bank) to try and sort out some arrangement for me to keep the car, to leave me stranded at the mall. The guy was nice enough to let me get home and make another arrangement to get the car to him. I handed the car off to him that same afternoon. Absa just would not help. The don't give a damn. Now the car has been sold on auction, got a call from a lady asking for R77 000 - as this is the shortfall from the sale. I would have paid every single cent owed to Absa, it would have taken longer, but I would have paid it. NOW I must pay for a car that I don't have. We are still just keeping our heads above water, but Absa wants their money. Well, they will probably come to my house and take my kids beds to sell or my washing machine and tv to make up the shortfall. They have handed me over to Velile Tinto & Associates to recover their shortfall. Very nice lady helped me there to put in my R50 arrangement so that, hopefully, Absa does not come and take anything else to get their money. So nicely done Absa - I will never ever in my life have any dealings with Absa again. I won't even use their ATM's. There is NO spirit of ubuntu with Absa - take your business somewhere else.
