ABSA Vehicle Finance; the toxic ex that will not leave you alone

It has been a year plus now since I have paid my dues to ABSA VF. This was for a financed vehicle in arrears that was repossessed after an accident (not written off) - despite the fact that I had made payment arrangements. The car was repossessed in a damaged state despite me having insurance to pay it off and the damages being fixable. In addition, the amount in arrears was only R11500. Following this ordeal, I of course had a sky-high excess payment despite ABSA not allowing my car insurance to fix the vehicle before they repossessed it. Despite this, I paid them off in June last year 2021. You would think this was the end, but wait there is more. Like a horror movie that does not cease to amaze ABSA VF updated my account as closed then opened another pseudo account (they probably botched some duplicate process like the true idiots they are). This has meant every time I have app**** for new credit I look like an unreliable peach until I finally had the time to investigate. ABSA VF please stop being a toxic ex and let me go, let me move onto to greener pastures where I can form a better relationship with a company that actually has professional conduct, please do me the favour and submit correct information, and just do better hey.
