ABSA Vehicle Finance Settlement Quote

I requested my settlement quote for my vehicle on the 27th of March 2018. I received it the same day and made the payment 20 minutes after I received it. Since then I phoned the offices once in the morning and once the afternoon on Thursday 26 March to check if the payment has been cleared for registration documentation to be requested. They said I must phone on the 3rd of April to check if it has been cleared and then they can send the registration documents. I phoned this morning and now there is an outstanding balance of one month's debit order. How is this possible? A settlement quote is to settle the account as per the date!!!!
