ABSA vehicle finance discriminates

Called Absa vehicle finance for a settlement on my vehicle as I wanted to trade it in on a new vehicle. I was given a settlement figure and the lady asked why I wanted a settlement. I told her I wanted to trade it in on another vehicle at a reputable garage. She then advised me to do the application with her as it would save time. I gave her all the relevant details and was told I would have an answer within two hours. 6 hours later I called in to find out what the status was and was informed it was declined. I asked for the reasons and was told that I already had a car financed with them. 1. Hello I told her that the car was going to be settled. 2. She had my company wrong. 3. I was supposedly a pensioner and they wanted a pension policy. I asked to speak to the person who was handling the application and was told it was Vicky. I asked to speak to her and was told she was not available. I left a message for her to call me. The following day I again called to speak to Vicky and again she was unavailable. I again left a message for her to call me. I then spoke to another lady and asked her to redo the application with the correct details about my work history and that the vehicle I had with them would be settled. She said I would have a answer within 2 to 3 hours. The next day I called again and was told that the application was still being assesed and I would hear in 2 to 3 hours. 6 hours later I called in and was told it was again declined because they wanted a pension policy. I told her I didnt have a policy as I was not planning to stop working in the next ten years. My present car was financed over 60 months and my payments are R3300 per month. I was then told because of my age I could finance the new car over 36 months at a monthly payment of R5600 per month. I find this digracefull after being a ABSA client for almost 15 years and most of my Insurance is also with ABSA. Needless to say I have already cancelled my insurances with ABSA I Direct and will be closing my accounts with ABSA and moving them to another bank. By the way I am still waiting for Vicky to call me.
