ABSA Vehicle Finance debit order

I am on temporay disablity and my vehicle finance is been paid by ABSA life. Decembers premium was paid on the 28th of December , but on the 30th of December my cheque account was debited with the premium was debited and it bounced. i had to pay the fee off R105.00 . However Absa then revered the payment on my account and my balance went fromn 234 to 239. How is this possible
