Absa vehicle finance changing debit order dates without clients consent in December 2023.

Appalling I have financed most of my assets with ABSA. However the latest stunt ABSA is pulling is to force vehicle finance payment on the 20th of December, even after I opted out and responded that ABSA MUST remain with my normal debit order contracted terms. ABSA decided to ignore my request and just blindly proceed to adjust the December debit order to the 20th of the month where it normally goes off at the end of the month. Unfortunately I do not get paid on the 20th of the month like ABSA personal do. I get paid at the end of the month. I am totally disgusted with the way I have been treated by ABSA, and it is unacceptable they do what they want even after you have opted out. Even after I spent almost 45 min trying to get through to ABSA they still inform me that there is nothing they can do but escalate the issue. If this is ABSA’s modus operandi I will never finance anything through them again. Who gives ABSA the right to ignore their private banking clients and just do what they want to. ABSA cannot even provide me the proof of where I provided consent to change my debit order date, nor can they reverse the change they have made. My complaint has now disappeared in their bureaucracy of escalation protocols. ABAS is useless and ********* in their dealings with their clients. I am a VERY Unhappy ABSA private banker at the moment!!!!!!
