Absa Vehicle Finance Account Incompetency

If it was possible to give 0 ratings I would. I have a vehicle finance account with ABSA since 2023 and my interest rate is linked. In 2024, the interest rate on my account was increased for no reason when the South African Reserve Bank had not adjusted the repo rate. I called in and it was adjusted back to the correct one. It’s 2025, the last adjustment by SARB was in January 2025 where the repo rate was dropped by 0.25% and my interest rate was adjusted accordingly by the bank as per the drop by SARB. As I type this, it is April 2025, I got a letter that my interest is increasing by 1% from my actual rate. When I call in, the agents don’t know what is the reason, others hang up the phone on you when they don’t have answers, and I am being sent from pillar to post everyone asking me if I am a staff meanwhile I have never worked for the bank. I am so fed up with this bank and it’s only frustrating. Now I am just wondering what happens to the clients who have secured lending products with Absa and do not realise that their accounts get adjusted for vibes
