Absa Vehicle Finance

<p>I bought my first car through Absa and they provided me with a credit life insurance which I didn't request but I was cool with it as I thought it's their standard procedure. Then I traded in my car for another one, couple of months after that I got retrenched and only to find out that I don't have a credit life insurance on my recent vehicle account. Which came as a suprise to me as I expected to have been offered withouth having to request as they did initially. As I struggled to pay my car for 3 months they then repossessed my car even when my situation was changed as I was starting the new job the following month. It realy hurts me because the bank didn't show emphathy not even to provide some advise or restructure my contrat even worse I have been a customer for more than 10 year, I have been employed by the bank however nothing of sort was considered when I faced the difficulties. I would like the bank to be considerate with it's customer, be a banking parner ofcause it's business but I strongly feel my situation should have been handled differently provided my situation was about to change in the following month. I would highly recommend customers to be careful when dealing with the Bank because to me it seems like the bank is not shy on reaping people off. To worsen the situation the bank has refused to offer me a vehicle finance as my account has a hold status even though I am paying the account, it's realy amazing oh thanks Absa!</p>
