ABSA vehicle finance

In December 2021, I made a purchase of a brand new car from Bidvest McCarthy VW, and financed it through ABSA. However, in December 2023, the car began experiencing power loss, and as a result, I parked it. Subsequently, I contacted Bidvest McCarthy VW Arcadia, my usual service provider, only to be informed that they were fully booked until January 8, 2024. In light of this, on January 8, 2024, I took the car to VW for servicing.

It has now been two months since I left the car with the dealership, and unfortunately, they have been unable to diagnose the problem. There is a growing suspicion that the car has a factory fault problem, yet the dealership has been unwilling to acknowledge this or resolve the issue at hand.

Furthermore, I have made payments for the car installment and insurance for December, January, and February, despite the fact that the car has been inoperative, and there are no indications that it will be returned to me anytime soon. Given that it has only been two years since I acquired the car, and the dealer has taken more than two months to address the issue, I am apprehensive about the car's longevity and reliability.

In view of these circumstances, I would appreciate your urgent assistance in resolving this matter, as I am compelled to seek a solution to this issue.
