Absa vehicle

My wife and i have a vehicle financed with absa and the vehicle recently broke down out of warrenty. With tight finances it has been hard to both get the car repaired and continue paying the monthly installments as she lost her job as well.

The cost on the repair was well over R40000.00, so we ended up missing a number of paymnets on the car as we had to pay for the repairs.

We tried to makepayment arrangement with absa but had no luck and we where told that the car would be reposesed by the bank. We share all information with them and gave the collection agent (Andre de Beer) details of the machenic as he tought we where hidding the vehicle.

Recently we underwent debt review and managed to make an arrangement on the payments for the vehicle. Now the challenge is the following:

- The colleciton agent (Andre De Beer) got the machenic to sign paperwork stating that we can not get the car from him and that he must not complete the work on the car.

I tried to communicate with Andre regarding this and he says that i must decide if i want the car fixed or not but the machenic can not fix it based on paperwork that the agent got him to sign,

I am very frustrated with this as i now have to pay for a car that i can not get because the machenic is not allowed to fix it, based on instructions from the collection agent (Andre de Beer)
