This what happened in 2019 0ctober I bought a corolla quest 1.6 model 2018. I was paying installment of R5100 per month. I change job in 2020 June and I continue paying until August 2020 contract ended. I notify the bank and I was told that if I did not pay for three month they will reposses the car or k should surrender the car. I was out of work till December they called to make an arrangement I allowed their agent to come on the 28 December 2020. I was told to do eft of R5000 if not they are taking the car. They took it and I was told if I want the car I must go and pay that sound within 21 days. On that day I was starting on contract of three months but they refused to take my request. In April 2021 I received a message saying that I have discount of 60% . In May 2021 I did follow up on that and I was told that the car was bought in February 2021. They told me I have a shortfall of R108.000. I did not have the 60% of that money since I got permanently employment on that month. I was told that in order to be clean I need to pay for 3 months. After three months I went to garage to try and get a car I was told that ABSA has blacklisted me as a defaulted payer. I cannot do anything and this appears as if I still have the car with me. It is not written that the car is repossed. I do not understand as it was time for covid 19 they did not give me grace period of six month. Please help I am stucked.
