ABSA Updating of Will Request

As a client of ABSA for many years, of recent we have found their service less than what is expected of them dealing with the matter of our Will. we requested Absa on 25 February 2024 for assistance in the updating of our current will, which due to changes in circumstances, needed to be revised and a new will drafted. We received a response from ABSA on 26 February 2024 that our request had been forwarded to ABSA Trust for assistance, we followed up with ABSA on 07 March 2024 as we had not received any reply to our request, Content of the email " Subject: Updating of Will - I refer to my email dated 25 February 2024 requesting that a copy of our will be sent to us, to enable us to update our will, “and your reply dated 26 February 2024 where the matter was referred to WillsJhb (***ca) for assistance with regards to our request”. To date we have received no response and no way forward, we find this very disconcerting and the lack of service with this reference to our request and assistance as disgusting. This matter should be treated as urgent for no one can determine the time line when we still be around or not, and our estate not sorted as it should will be a problem for our children to resolve.
