Absa unfair black listing and unfair ncr practice

Good day

I bought the car with absa finance. A long story short I decided to sell the vehicle as I was nomore in need of the vehicle. I went to Toyota bruma to sell the car they offered me R150 000. I went to absa to inform them.

They told me that they have the easy systems in absa to sell my car and they will even give me a proper discount. I took the offer and gave them the car as per the agreement. Part of the agreement was that they will deduct the shortfall the same way they were deducting for the car Installment.

After a while they did not deduct the money I went to absa and ask them why they didn't deduct the Installment as agreed. They told me that the matter was with the legal department they will revert to me when the file is back.

After a while I got a call that I should pay around R8600. I them agreed to that but I was told that I was listed in the credit bereu due to my non payment to the Installment. I was not happy and I'm taking the dispute seriously the matter is with my legal department and im taking it to NCR and clollections disputes department. Because i can't be black listed unfairly.

Absa decided to further handed me to the lawyers for collection. I informed the lawyers of the arrangement of which they can also see the proof for themselves. Absa now told the lawyers that they made a mistake by saying i should pay R8600.00 now i should pay R13600 or somewhere around there . Its not fair as its irregular in terms of NCR and the collection bills. It is also a false advertising and false representation from absa.

I am willing to pay R8600 not anything more and my name was not supposed to be black listed. I tried reaching out to the bank they gave me one line answer which is " 50% discount is not available anymore we can only offer 20%" I'm very disappointed

Absa has responded but they just shifting the blame on me. How can you blacklist a person who never defaulted payment? Why would you hand over person who have an agreement with you that you will deduct the money from his account and you didn't whose fault is that? The account which happens to be from the same institution absa. If the department from the same bank do not correlate whose fault is that ?
