Absa unable to resolve and re-imburse fraululent transactions

A couple of months ago, my wife's Absa App was logged in to, by a person that was not her. This person had managed to transfer around R15 000 to various other accounts without my wife receiving any kind of notification. (Apparently this can be deactivated in the branches). Upon conctacting ABSA we are constantly told that the case is under investigation. It has been escalated 3 times. As far as i am aware, it is the Banks duty to ensure that *****ulent transactions are investigated and resolved. Or at the very least, the client re-imbursed as the investigation takes place. I am utterly appaled by the lack of service and feedback we are getting from Absa, i am so glad i had moved away from them, and i am convincing others around me to do the same. Dont bank with ABSA, unless you want difficulty and red-tape.
