Absa Trust - Unaccetpable service - no service

Actually the rating should be Minus 1.

My late father's estate is being handled by Absa Trust.

The letter of executorship was issued during September 2018.

During November 2018 I queried the progress to which I received the following reply: Kindly be advised that our transfer attorneys are in the process of drafting the transfer documents and await rates figures from the municipality. We should receive the documents early next week. We await SARS to confirm if we need to submit any outstanding tax returns, or furnish us with a tax clearance certificate.

Although some proceeds have been paid from the estate (of which the details I had to query from my side as I did not receive any notification as to the amount / how it was derived / etc) I still have no idea on the progress of the transfer of ownership, nor any SARS confirmations.

I enquired about these on by sending numerous e-mails: 3/1/2019; 4/2/2019; 5/3/2019; 19/3/2019 - some of to which I received replies up to 2 weeks after sending the mail - and to some no feedback at all. The replies merely stated that they will look into the matter and revert.

At the end of December 2018 I was asked to rate the service - to which I gave a very low rating. I received an almost immediate call from Absa Trust - ensuring me that this is unacceptable and being attended to without delay.

Well so much for that promise, it is now 4 months later - and I am still awaiting feedback....

Surely this is unacceptable.
