ABSA TRUST SERVICE ARE BULLIES
Good day I have a trust fund with Absa Trust Services Reg: JORDAAN T TRUST – 73/*** of which Sune Diuedericks is my trust administrator and Akhona Williams which is the power of authority. I am writing this email as a result of pure frustration I have been having years of struggling with communication, and turn around time for requests. When the trust was established I had no issues at first with Mr Gert Kruger, who has passed away. After his passing I have dealt with the new appointing officer Sune Diedericks. It seems that myself and Sune Diedericks are not getting along, and it has been going on for years. Out of our varied opinions, we have been disagreeing on numerous occasions and do not have a good relationship, as we both are very opinionated and strong in personality the relationship between administrator and client is not on good terms, and I am getting treated badly as a result of that. I had a hard time during hard lockdown to be compensated fairly, of which I also wrote a complaint to Absa head office of the ill manner I am being trated with my funds. As of recent, my property which was registered in the trust name has been sold, upon my initiative and efficiency I had the property up for sale by my own agents etc as the trust request turn around time is not up to my standard of feedback. Non the less, the property was sold one day after it was listed. I went to the trust offices to have a face to face meeting with Sune Diedericks to discuss the sale of the property, and that my only reason for the sale was to get capital from the sale, in order to start my own business. Of which Sune then agreed and said that I wount be able to get all the capital from the sale and that there will have to be some capital put back into the trust fund. I agreed with the condition and that a 50/50 split of the capital would be fair. The trust proceeded to have the property evaluated to determine if the value I have had the property listed for was accurate, which it wasd after the evaluation. The trust then agreed to proceed with the sale and sign the relevant documentation. After signing the documents from the attorneys, a few days after I received an email stating that I will not be receiving the requested capital and they will appoint a financial advisor. Which was not the deal. The ONLY reason I was willing to sell MY property was to get funded for business. When I confronted Sune Diedericks about the email, and that they are making decisions in a very dishonest way, I told Sune in that case I am cancelling the sale because that was not the deal. Of which her response to me was – I will be held responsible for the legal fees involved (after being told I have no authority to sign offer to purchases / contracts etc) she was easy to pin the legal fees etc on me when I said that I want to cancel the sale of the property (so they are in power, but when I reverse the responsibility for the cost involved I am all of a sudden good enough to pin the fees on and good enough for that. I then agreed to proceed with the sale, after numerous fights with Sune, they notified me that my case worked Mrs Sandra Botha from Ophilayo Occupational The******s, in order to have someone who can act as a middle man to communicate between myself and the trust, since the direct relationship between myself and the trust is on bad terms and only causes frustration. Mrs Sandra Botha came to visit me to discuss my living circumstances, expenses, future palns etc and that she will improve the turn around time from my request to decision, which is not the case at all, since the case manager has been appointed it seems that the trust is very relaxed and turn around time for my requests varies from 3-4 weeks to have an answer. For example: I requested (via case manager) for a refund on the new property that I am renting which is R42,000 in total deposits and rent etc. I moved into the property, after my meeting with the case manager, I sent her the required email with my request for the refund on the 12th of October (proof to be sent if required). All I am getting back in return is excuses and no resolutions. Last week on the 9th of November (almost a month later since requesting a refund, I was notified that the refund request was approved and being paid, but due to a system error payment will be slightly delayed. Today is the 18th of November and I still do not have my refund I have also requested the following of which I have not received the feedback I require: 1. Latest trust account statement / balance 2. List oif mandatory expenses that needs to be paid as a result that I did not receive any proceeds from the sale of the property, there is estimated R1,200,000 in the trust account, which I am not certain on the figure as I am waiting over 6 weeks for a balance statement and getting no feedback on my expenses (rent etc) which will lead to me paying for it myself and it will stir another fight regarding refunds and turn around time This is just a short list of issues I deal with on a weekly basis with the trust I am being *****ed over and I will not tolerate this, the funds in the trusat belong to me TIAAN JORDAAN I am still a client of Absa because I have funds in an account at Absa, but I am definitely not treated as one I need someone of a higher power to assist me to deal with this matter and I would like a face to face meeting to be scheduled between myself, the trust and a person from Absa head office to attend the meeting. I have never been invited to a trustees meeting, whereby decisions are made behind my back, decisions made on feelings and emotion will determine the outcome and to query a outcome takes weeks for a final decision to be made. I would also like to request a new trust officer ( I am sure that I am allowed according to my rights to request someone else to work with) The persons at the trust contact details as below: Sune Diedericks (Trust officer) ***ca Tel: *** Akhona Williams (Authorized person / manager) ***ca Sandra Botha (Appointed case manager) *** Kind Regards Tiaan Jordaan ***
