ABSA TRUST FUND CLAIM

I am Mashaba Matimba and i am a dependent University student. I'm one of ABSA TRUST FUND BENEFICIARY.

My father passed away in 2008 and i was only allowed to claim the funds when i turn 21. I turned 21 last year and i went to ABSA to submit the termination documents as i was instructed. The person who's with my trust then told me that the person who sent the documents didn't send it correctly and she told me to go and resend. I went to ABSA again and resend, i didn't receive any communication from them until i sent them an Email.

They rep**** and said they are dealing with it but the documents are not clear( was told after i decided to contact them).

I was told to resend the documents again, i went and resend the documents on the 29th December 2020 and i still never received any communication from them until I decided to contact them telling them about the needs i have for school and they told to a quotation of gadgets that i need and also told me that they didn't receive the documents though the lady that i submitted my documents to told me they they deliver every Friday

It's a frustrating situation because i would help me buy things that i need to use at school.

Seeing these other complaints and together with mine, makes me think of never thinking of working/trusting ABSA in the future
