On behalf of the Ndlovu family we are very distressed by how ABSA Trust handled our complaint that we laid through this platform. The amount of mental distress has causede to suffer mild stroke because I tried my level best to plead with ABSA to take accountability for the fact 13months after my late mother passed, we are still nowhere even signing one document. When we lodged a complaint with this platform, we received numerous emails from different people at ABSA assuring us that they will get to the bottom of this. Since I assumed they would investigate and take accountability because the person responsible for Seby Motaung was contracted to them. Allegedly Seby was fired because of alleged ******* actions and hence our claim to access estate and all other processes where delayed. To their credit, they apparently forwarded our will to be processed by a certain law firm, which we received open heartedly despite no correspondence from that law firm since we introduced to them, which was late October. What disturbed us was the fact that what ABSA was investigating, was not to the benefit of us, but they were finding ways to protect themselves. Unfortunately for us, in this case the those institutions responsible for oversight in financial sector cannot assist us because we are not clients of ABSA my mother was. Hence their report on this issue read, they asked Selby what happened and he doesn't know and he is no longer with them, further more as we demanded that regardless of his denial and him no longer being at ABSA it does not excuse the alleged *******ion and lack of accountability, to which they demanded that we submit proof to them that we indeed submitted our documents November 2020. How do we prove hand submitted documents? When we engaged the reasoning, logic and insensitivity behind utterances knowing very well that such is only submitted in hand and not digitally.
