ABSA - Today we help, tomorrow we will be quiet, together we will ***** you

I app**** for a payment holiday on my credit cards (2) when lockdown started. I was under the impression that I would be covered for 6 months and any admin charges would be suspended until then. Now after 6 months I have to call them to find out what the situation is as both my cards were in arrears only to find out that the payment relief stopped 4 months in and I'm now two months late. In the same phone call I had to arrange for a payment plan to recover my debt, against my will but according to them I had no other option. What bothers me the most is that in that same week ABSA's lawyers contacted me and said I was handed over for not paying for two months and that it will affect my credit score, how fair is that?
