ABSA: Today, Tomorrow or in THREE years time

In 2010 I took out a personal loan with ABSA and by 2011 the account went was handed over to Brooks Luyt Inc for collection. I fully settled the account in January of 2013. During which time I was also blacklisted by them. Upon settling my account I requested that they update my ITC record to reflect that the account was paid of. Instead my record shows that I still owe ABSA an amount of R2 180 and that the months of Oct, Nov, and Dec-14 were all 150+ days due. I spoke to Lerato today and tells me that even though my account is settled it still doesn't show as closed. I just wonder how much time does sloppy ABSA require to UPDATE their records,ten years maybe? This is very poor service from ABSA's part!!!!
