ABSA to absa is an indication to the smaller emphasis on customer service
We have been trying to get a cancellation figure for our bond for more than 7 weeks now. The first figure send we requested a minor chnage. This was on 7 March 2022. Since then we have not had any feedback or response from the person responsible Caroline Ndungwana. The bond attorneys have reiterated that we need the figures urgenty and on 8 April once agian a request was send. This has just been ignored. I approached my private bankere once agian - who should out of his own accord have been following up - to enquire what is happening. The private banker suggested I call Caroline to follow up - now if you have a private banker why should you have to do his job? It is a bank issue and the cleint should preferable work through the banker to resolve such issues. I was given the number by the private banker of Carolinesmanager Lenay Beneke - and left a message for her to call back. lets see!! It is a sad day when a bank such as absa are not providing any customer service anymore. Maybe the reason for the change in brand from the capital letter ABSA to the absa is an indication or acknowledgement of their declining stature as a customer centric bank. This is also not my first complaint regarding poor service. The previous one was resolved fast- but only after cmplaining. Why should one complain first before anything happens
