ABSA - ******* AND ***** - STAY AWAY!!!
I don't know which bank is the best, but I can certainly tell you which is the WORST- ABSA! I am horrified to say that I have been **** to by 2 branch managers, who assured me that my account is closed and the funds transferred from my UIF benefit are "sitting" in an intermediary bank's suspense account, which UIF must recall. Trusting that not one but 2 different branch managers would not be misleading or lying to me, I believed everything that they instructed me to do and went to fight with UIF. It has since transpired that ABSA is refusing to return my money back to UIF and are forcing me to either open another account with them or they will transfer into any other account of mine after they deduct all their closed account fees etc. So in short they are keeping my money as "ransom" to force me to "authorize" them to ***** a few thousand more while transferring my money to which they are holding on to for over a month! If this is not a **************** in the most underhanded and despicable way than I don't know what is! You are nothing short of ******* and *****!!! STAY AWAY FROM ABSA!!!
