ABSA, THE 'RIP-OFF' BANK?

I heard it said or read somewhere that, "There is a Bank that seemeth right unto a man but the end (sy Gat) thereof is the way of death/deceit".

I lodged an insurance claim with them on 22/1/18 and received a response on 25/1/18. Due to their failure/refusal/neglect to respond timeously and also prevent further flooding in the ceilings, I called a private Plumber to shut-off the H/Water supply - waiting for them to come and restore same. Weeks later a Repairman came but DID NOT EVEN go into the roof to ascertain what had caused the flooding. Neither did he repair and restore the H/Water Supply.

After extreme inconvenience and unnecessary expenses for .......days I got the private Plumber to restore the H/Water Supply.

On 13/2/18 a second repair-team arrived to (allegedly) 'take pictures' in the roof and left. Five minutes later they returned to enter the roof a second time 'to take pictures'.

Is ABSA an 'Mickey Mouse' bank or an 'insurance ripp-off' or BOTH? Afterall, I have PAID my premiums, lodged my complaint (twice), had the stop**** closed to prevent further/extensive damage, suffered undue inconvenience & unnecessary expenses and have received NOTHING in return - for what? Do the employees of this 'fly-by-night' bank even KNOW that working for this type of employer in like working with "Saul of Tarsus' who THOUGHT he was God's gift to the nation? Take my advice, "You are all destined for Hell". DO NOT BELIEVE your Priest when he tells you that at death you go to Heaven. THAT is a lie...it is NOT BIBLICAL!!!

People of South Africa, I HAVE BEEN ******, TAKEN FOR RIDE and DROPPED IN THE .......(you know what) !!!!

UNLESS my claim is met BEFORE CLOSE OF BUSINESS TODAY, it is my intention to make such a big fuss, LOCALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY, that it will 'knock your socks off'. This kind of EXPLOITATION by ABSA Client Services ENDS TODAY..... and you can 'take THAT to the bank'!!

NO!!! I WILL NOT agree to submitting a 'THIRD FORMAL COMPLAINT'. You have until CLOSE-OF-BUSINESS today to deal with my complaint/request or experience the brunt of my wrath.

Hi Adrianne, This serves to confirm that I have persuaded my son to move his equipment and Confidential Papers to another room in the house. He promised to do so on Sunday. This means that your workers would be able to be on Monday from 10h00 until 16h30 and, if necessary, on Tuesday also. By-the-way, I thought we had an Agreement that your workers would come on-site only after you and I finalized the aforesaid? Well, this morning we lost 1,5 hours of sleep. Thanks to your workmen who came into the premises and climbed into the roof AGAIN! I am sure that you NOW understand that I cannot accept any apology from you while we are still being INCONVENIENCED despite your undertaking that 'it will not happen again'. This confirms your incompetence and lack of ability to facilitate adequately, or at all. May I also stress the point that I am NOT PREPARED to pay your Call-Out Fee or any Access. We are Pensioners and cannot recall ever agreeing to such Costs. Our inconvenience/Damages suffered todate is as follows : 1. Call-out of Plumber to turn-of the HW Supply and avoid further flooding: R260 2. Labour to remove flood water from the ceiling to avoid further damage: R250 3. Hire of 2P Gas Stove and Supply of Gas to make Hot Water (12 days) R650 4. Replacing Ball Valve (Labour) R150 Kindly confirm how long the repair work will take? DAVE and CONNIE SASSMAN
