Absa, the one comany NOT to fight to retain their customers

Word of advice - avoid ever doing business with or switching to Absa South Africa

You go to one of their ATM's to deposit money afterhours, only for the ATM to fail midway through your transaction and NOT return your funds AT ALL.

And after the ATM/they've already taken your money, you get a lovely a receipt saying "transaction unsuccessful - contact your nearest branch" - because remember "TRANSPARENCY IS KEY MENSE ☝🏻"

Uh, WHO must I contact and ON WHAT NUMBER after they've already closed at 15h30 PM????

Don't try and call them as you'll literally waste hundreds of Rands and time calling and holding the line.

The cherry on the cake is that I literally pay them R1k every month - for a simple cheque account that literally offers me NOTHING in return. I mean I should at least have a card thats made out of pure gold with glitter and unicorns and stuff on it, right?
