ABSA.... THE ABSOLUTE WORST.

If I could give a minus star rating I would. I started the process A YEAR ago to get a further advancement on my existing ABSA bond. Firstly the assessors were completely *********** and had no idea how to assess a sole proprietors accounts. After much back and forth and 6 months along, they finally managed and granted the advancement. Only to realise they had lost my original title deed (meant to be with ABSA). ANOTHER two months delay. Then the advancement was placed under simple advancement and not for property extension. Now, everything has been done but we waiting once again for 2 Months for their department to send through consents to cancel the original bond documents to lodge. No one can answer, no one can take responsibility. ABSA is the absolute worst. DO NOT go with them. This has cost me tens of thousands and undue stress. I cannot wait to move away from ABSA.
