ABSA TAKES LEGAL ACTION WITH NO WARNING AND NO CORRESPONDENCE
<p>We have a home loan overage from a plot we sold and we make payments to keep the loan paid off without warning 2 weeks ago a company called Dalyadmin ( legal arm of Absa) contacted us to demand full payment of the R226 000 loan . when we asked what was going on they told us they had been issued a monitoring letter from Absa. We contacted Absa to try and get info on why this was happening as we have been paying our monies into the account, why no one has been in touch telephonicaly , by email to alert us there was an issue, we have received Zero response to our emails ( 6 sent), 3 phone calls, the person who apparently handed over the account is someone on Sedumedi in the Off balance sheet department. i got hold of someone called Godfrey who told me it was a mistake by Absa, nothing should be handed over and that he would logg in the system to get rectifieed. 10 days later we are still getting calls and email demands for full payment from Dalyadmin and we dont know why. we dont know how to stop this process. we have no reponse to any of our emails asking for info ? we have been treated awfully and this is incredibly stressful. my account details is ***</p>

also just want you to know that we call the law firm that I received a text from and I quoted my ref no that was in the text message. they company is supposedly called Macrobert attorneys and the reference we quoted was BH005106. the number for this firm are ***
However this didn’t mean anything to “’Issac who answered the phone”’ so he asked for my ID no which I refused to give him . Then he wanted my cell phone no that the text was sent to. Which I also refused
Sorry but this just doesn’t sound like a legitimate law firm that wants my personal info just like that when we give a reference number
So once again to please phone either cecil or myself as we have relaly been trying to resolve this an and explain to me what is going on and why and also confirm the law firm’s name that you have supposedly handed me over to.

please confirm this information is correct. we think that we are being ****med by someone in Absa as no one is calling us despite at least 14 emails to this effect asking for a call, how can we be given 2 weeks a message from a company called Daly, a demand for all of the funds to be settled. when we contaced Daly to ask what this was about , they had no idea, they also had no supprting information at all despite us asking for it.. we have kept well in touch with Absa since this first came to light and have been amost exlcusively ignored, and no one has responded with answers to our questions, again we ask yesterday for someone from Absa to call us and no one does. we even left our various phone numbers, and from a monitoring company we are suddenly sent to a legal company within 14 days? how does this work.. with no communiction again from Absa side, despite us emailing, calling and asking for communciation. how does this be legal. we have proof that the info mainatined by Daly is incorrect. but we need someon to be allocated to this and to follow through and to call us
