ABSA TAKE YOUR MONEY WITH EAS, GOOD LUCK GETTING IT BACK FROM THEM
It seems one can open a term deposit with ABSA and they can do FICA and take your money in under 24Hours. Good luck in trying to get your money out in say a deceased estate. Now suddenly FICA takes 60 working days!!! In my case the notice was issued 6 December 2023 and ABSA have refused to release their grubby paws off the money of the deceased.
