ABSA tagged my name without notifying me

I did an application to purchase a vehicle from KIA Umhlanga, i was pre approved by all banks. My credit score is good, today i was told that Absa has tagged my name as someone previously tried to purchase a vehicle under my name. How is this any of my fault? why should i now have issues in trying to buy a new car for myself? WHY would Absa not notify me all this time ? I am an innocent consumer trying to do the best for my family with all other pressures of life, i cannot express how irate and disappointed i am with Absa. My current vehicle finance is with you guys for 4 years. I need a department head to call me immediately and rectify this now so i can go and collect my new vehicle. My cell number is ***.
