ABSA SUNDRY ITEM ON VEHICLE FINANCE

There is a line item on my vehicle finance by ABSA named "Sundry Item". The amount next to it fluctuates every time. It has been there for some time now, I would say at least a year or two but I wouldn't know because ABSA hardly sends my statements unless I request them.

I called the call centre and I was given different stories. One said it is some sort of amount which I save monthly. One said it is linked to interest rate and the recent VAT increase. One said they don't know the reason for that line item. Interestingly, ABSA twitter handle said "You get this frequent entry on your statement for the admin performed on your account within that statement cycle". This left me shocked because I thought that I pay a monthly admin fee charge to cover your admin costs.

Somebody better explain this. The ref number that I was given by one of your agents who was very helpful is ********** .

I need this sorted please.
