ABSA SUCKS

I am a pensioner , 67 years old and my lively hood is settled in the capital available to me. On the 26th of June 2018 I paid over an amount of R1.7m from Nedbank where my investment was, which were Bank Guaranteed checks from Nedbank, to my ABSA account. I made the payment in Bela Bela ABSA and my ABSA bank is in Modimolle .No one but no one told me that the money will only be free after 10 days. What they told me is that the money will be free after three days. I am loosing money because of this which I cannot afford. The manager in Bela Bela tried his best to free the capital but to no avail. No one told me that the checks for that amount should be cleared because of the fact that I thought that bank guarenteed checks from Nedbank into my account was enough to clear the money within 3 days. The top management of ABSA decided that this will be the rule and I do not accept that at all. I have been a client of ABSA since Volkskas days, 45 years and this Is how they treat me. Totally unacceptable !!!!! They do not give a damn about my need.
