Absa still won't close my account without valid reasons
My query is being handled by Godfrey Ndou but he is out of office until 25/3/2026. Can Absa please close the account, this request was done over a week ago, charges are incurring!!!!!

17 Mar 2026, 15:45Just got a call from a lady who gave me the same story that there is an uncleared swipe at a merchant that is peniding since 7/3/2026 thats why the acc remain open and she had the audecity to tell me I decided to swipe my card at that merchant so I must wait. I had money in my acc on 7/3/2026 when I swiped for R110 so I do not know why this transaction is pending and now I am being punished. ABSA IS A WASTE OF A BANK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
