ABSA *****S MONEY FROM MY FNB ACCOUNT WITH NO AGREEMENT AND FAILS TO REFUND AND CORRECT WITHIN REQUIRED TIMELINES AND DAMAGES CONSUMER PROFILE AND DOES NOT ALLIGN WITH TCF POLICY, CEO DEPARTMENT FAILS TO ADHERE TO INSTRUCTIONS - LEAVE ABSA IF YOU WANT TO

After banking with the group for somewhat 10 years, they were simply unable to provide me with internet banking, carting from branch to branch and call center agent to complaints agents, i finally decided to switch to FNB in April this year. FNB app**** to switch all debit orders and were successful with all my creditors aside ABSA personal loans department. I contacted ABSA and requested that they allow the switch for the debit order to continue going off as it had been for 3 years with no missed payments. (aside that i had an impeccable credit score and never missed a single payment in almost 6 years to any creditor), ABSA failed to honor my request. In July this year, i had forgotten to manually transfer the amount over to my personal loan account. it wasn't even a month later and a collection agent called requesting payment, i immediately gave the collection agent my FNB banking details and we agreed to debit the installment amount. I believed all to be in order. But what this agent had maliciously done was made a note on their system to say that i told him/her that i dont want to pay the account, thus causing ABSA to hand me over to Nimble collection agents for pre-legal. Well, they called and i kept saying to them, take the money, ive mailed them my FNB account details on 3 or 4 occasions and @ end September 2019, still they had not taken the funds, thus placing me in 3 months arrears. Well i then wrote to the ABSA CEO, Rene Van Wyk, with all the written proof and confirmation that i was in fact the one mailing and calling after ABSA to please take their money. The CEO Complaints department then looked into the complaint and eventually only collected an installment 8.11.2019, a long wait indeed, we further entered into an agreement to deduct an agreed amount at 26.11.2019 and the total remaining @ 17.12.2019. Much to my surprise, FNB statement reflected today that an amount triple in value to what we agreed was taken by ABSA. The CEO department further wrote back to me advising that they will investigate and provide feedback by 29.11.2019. I find this unacceptable as we had a written agreement and my debit orders may now return following their humongous debit of a large amount of money not agreed to. Lets not mention that i also had to dispute service fees which they continued to charge for debiting the incorrect account after being given my banking details in writing. Collection agenbsts kept calling me requesting for almost R1200.00 in services fees for missed debits, once again i had to write to their CEO and it was established that i was aculayy in credit because they failed to adhere to my written instructions. That was resolved. But now i have creditors calling me for missed debits following ABSA's deduction not agreed and i assume my FNB account will now also attract undue services fees for missed debits etc which is all ABSAS fault. This affects my credit rating, profile, score, everything. This for a person who manages my finances diligently and works so hard to maintain a good credit rating. So fast they are to apologize for the inconvenience they caused but yet so slow to fix it with ITC, Experian and all credit Beureax affiliated platforms, I doubt they will refund me for the FNB charges i will now incur and nobody can ever repair the humiliation of receiving calls from creditors for missed debits now at their hands. But this is what ABSA stands for. I am so deeply disappointed and would like to warn as many clients banking with the group about their non-alignment with the TCF Policy and bridge of their promises.

HERE'S WHAT YOU DID ABSA

Couldn't give me internet banking, didn't take they money even after my continuous begging, took 3 months to do so, handed a long standing client over to pre-legal, messing up credit scores and finally THEFT- *****ing money from my account by taking a large some that i had not agreed to. WELL DONE. hey, if agents at CEO level cant assist you...says it all.

thank you for the most impassioned response! just as i said above, "please accept my sincere apology for inconvenience caused" but will you pay my services fees for missed debits with FNB? will you take all these embarrassing calls Im getting from creditors and explain to them that you stole my money? will you correct my ITC? will you ensure that the interest my bond account attracts because you took the money for my bond repayment is paid? when my child has no milk tonight are you going to fix her tears? are you going to do anything besides " please accept my sincere apology for inconvenience caused" are you going to pull all the calls and establish which agent you employ should be fired for making malicious and untrue notes? nooooooo
that you wont do!
